The first ingredient, Scutellaria baicalensis (root) Extract, has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and is also called Baikal skullcap, or Asian huáng cen. The next ingredient is Acacia catechu (bark) Extract and also reduces inflammation. Third is Alfalfa (leaf) Powder, considered useful for anti-rheumatic and anti-inflammatory potential. Fourth is Celery (seed) Powder, with celery being well-known for relieving symptoms of rheumatism. Fifth is Burdock (root) Powder, also known as gobo in Japan, which helps with supporting digestion and healthy skin. Sixth is Sarsaparilla (Smilax medica) (root) Powder, traditionally used to treat rheumatoid arthritis. Seventh is Cayenne Pepper (fruit) powder, also traditionally used to treat arthritis inflammation.
